Greenhouse Farm Cottage is set in a lovely rural setting just off the beaten track, actually in the Peak District Park itself. The cottage was finished in the Spring of 2009 and has full under floor electric heating as well as a gas fire, so therefore is suitable for year round use. This beautifully presented cottage has been tastefully converted with a contemporary flare to provide warm and welcoming holiday accommodation at any time of the year. Dating back to the 1800’s this former cart house for the farm is an ideal get away for couples, where every attention to detail has been taken care of to ensure a relaxing stay. Green House Farm Cottage sleeps 2 people in luxurious comfort and within driving distance of many of the main attractions which can be found within Staffordshire, Derbyshire, Cheshire and the Peak District National Park.

Approached along a well maintained farm track the cottage has a pretty cobbled area for relaxing and dining alfresco style on those warmer days with great views of the surrounding countryside and the Roaches. This area is a haven for walkers, climbers, cyclists and wild life enthusiasts.

Walks can be taken directly from the doorstep and walkers and climbers will enjoy the proximity of the dramatic grit stone scenery of the Roaches. Locally there is also fishing and horse riding available.

Public houses, fine dining restaurants, markets and shopping all within close proximity of Greenhouse Farm Cottage.

The village pub 1.5 miles away serves fine food and Leek, a 15 minute drive away is ideal for everyday shopping. There is several supermarkets based in Leek. Alternatively the whole of the Peak District’s National Park attractions are within an easy drive’s distance with the majestic Chatsworth House, Hardwick and Haddon Hall are all well worth a visit.

Barn style Stables, bring your own horses.

Greenhouse Farm is a working stud farm, breeding sheep and the world famous Lusitano breed of horse. We have two well equipped barn style stables with turnout.  Please let us know your requirements upon booking with us and we will gladly make all of the arrangements for you.  You will find some very picturesque countryside all within riding and walking distance of the Greenhouse Farm Cottage.
